Werri Beach Surf Guide

Immediately north of Gerringong, Werri Beach is blessed with the ability to turn it on in a wide range of conditions. When swells hit from the E, the whole place can light up. As swells shift to the NE or SE, simply shift to the headlands at the northern and southern ends of the beach. Werri Point is found at the southern end, and offers an excellent righthand pointbreak that breaks very close to the rocks and hits you with a big drop before throwing out some hollow barrels. A nice wall offers plenty of room for turns before you set up for the heavy inside section. The beachbreak can also get good depending on the setup of the banks, and can be a great option to avoid the crowds on the point.
