Soldiers Beach is a beautiful, isolated setup south of Newcastle with a fun beachbreak that sees minimal traffic. A left-hand pointbreak adds some diversity for those who want something a little different. Not the best wave in the region, but not the worst either, and you'll have it to yourself mid-week.
