Riomar Surf Guide

Riomar's inside break is unimpressive compared to Vero's other shorepounds. However, if a good N is pumping and it's low tide, the outer reef turns on, providing an enviable, and rare, offshore opportunity more than 200 yards beyond the beach.

Can get good on the stronger NE swell and hurricane swells that break on the reef. When small it breaks near the beach and there are better spots nearby for that. Not recommended for newer surfers. Gets sharky and these are big boys - bull sharks.
