Medewi Surf Guide

Medewi is much softer than many of the lefts on Bali, but makes up for it by being one of the longest. Popular with longboarders and beginners, this cobblestone left-hand point is quite user-friendly, but for that reason gets pretty busy with the less-experienced crowd. Tends to go sideshore during the SE trades, which means you want to surf it early before it blows out. To do so, you'll either have to leave Kuta two hours before sunrise or stay in the losmens located on the point.
