Mawgan Porth Surf Guide
This funnel shaped, cliff-lined bay is best at lower tides when the beach opens out, and in small to medium sized swells - too big and it closes out. The stream here can produce some nice little sandbanks with fun lefts at the southern edge and rights at the north. Higher tides suffer from backwash. Was considered an escape from the Newquay crowds but getting popular.
