Cables Surf Guide

In 1999, Cables became the site of the first artificial surfing reef in the world. Funded by the state government, granite rocks were arranged in a giant undersea pyramid to create a sort of limp peak. However, beggars certainly can't be choosers. It's better than it was. And if you're stuck in this part of the world and can't make it to the vastly superior waves north of the Swan River, namely Triggs and Scarborough, this will provide some form of low-level thrill.
