2nd St. to 10th St. Surf Guide

Street to 10th Street and produce fun rights and lefts on a medium swell, but it doesn't handle size that well. Best from mid- to high tide, the shorebreak can get punchy. This is a really nice beach that, to some extent, has been allowed to return to its natural state. Rabbits, toads and a variety of birds inhabit the thickly vegetated dune field. Park on the street and walk the paths only. It's about one block to the beach. All-day surfing is allowed in the summer from 8th to 10th Streets, and, best of all, no beach tags are necessary.
