Bradley Beach Travel & Surf Guide

Know Before You Go: Surf, Weather & Travel Info

About Bradley Beach Surf Travel

Bradley, like most towns in Monmouth County, has a host of jetties that can handle, and shape up nicely, a variety of swell. The 3rd Avenue surfing beach is a good hit, but is known to be frequented by a lot of longboarders who enjoy hogging waves. Brimley Avenue can take an east swell, so, when everywhere else is closing out, Brimley is the call. Don’t expect to be alone, of course–this is not really privileged information.

Bradley Beach is just another quite coastal enclave in North Jersey that will never have the best surf in the state, but will always have something to offer, especially in the fall, winter and spring. Summer’s what you’d expect — hot, humid, flat, and loaded with tourists. So if you’ve pulled into town and been let down by the ocean, stop off at the Bradley Cafe in town before leaving — the Mexican breakfast is always going off.
